What is a podcast?
A podcast is a radio program that you listen to on your computer or iPod. With the boom in portable audio playback devices like iPhones, iPods, & MP3 players, podcasting is more accessible to the masses. There are multiple playback devices, including but not limited to MP3 players, your computer, your phone, and even your home theater system. A
unique feature of podcasts is that it can be automatically downloaded to your media playback device through a RSS feed if you choose to "turn on" that feature.

Do I need and iPod or iPhone to listen to podcasts?

No. Podcasts are delivered in MP3 format that can be accessed to with any of the standard audio playback programs like Windows Media Player, QuickTime, and iTunes. If your computer has a CD burner, you can burn the MP3 to a disk and play it in your car or any CD player.

How do I listen to a podcast?

First, you need a computer with internet access (the fact that you're reading this is a good sign).
